See and manage every connection

Admin → Connections lists every system feeding your reports in one place: the sync agent that reads your ERP, your online stores, and your vehicle tracking. Each one shows what it is, whether it is working, and when it last brought data in.

The list at the top is the summary. If something needs attention it says so there, and Manage takes you down to that connection, where you can test it, change its credentials, or disconnect it.

What each status means

  • Working — connected, and nothing has failed.
  • Syncing… — data is loading right now. First-time connections can take a while.
  • Needs attention — something failed. The reason is shown underneath, and in the connection's own section below you can see which part of it failed.
  • Not connected — never set up, or disconnected.
  • Unavailable — we could not check it just now. This is about our ability to check, not a verdict on the connection itself; refresh the page and it usually clears.

Changing a connection

For your online store and your vehicle tracking, open the connection's section and either paste new credentials and reconnect, or click Disconnect. Leaving the credential fields blank keeps whatever is stored — only fill them in if you are replacing them.

Disconnecting stops new data arriving. Everything already synced is kept, and reports built on it keep working; they simply stop moving forward.

The sync agent is different

The sync agent is a program running on a server inside your business. It always dials out to us — nothing here ever reaches into your network — so it is connected from that server, not from this screen.

You will see two things in its section:

  • The servers you have connected. Each one can be disconnected here, which cuts that server off immediately.
  • What the running agents report — the version they are on, how many feeds they have scheduled, and when they last synced successfully. An agent that is running but has nothing scheduled is flagged Not syncing, because a server that is switched on and doing nothing looks healthy but is not.

These are shown as two separate lists on purpose. A server's report does not carry the name you gave it when you connected it, so we show you both rather than guess which report belongs to which server and risk telling you the wrong thing.

There is no "re-authorise" for a sync agent

We only ever store a fingerprint of an agent's credential, never the credential itself, so it cannot be re-issued in place. To move to a new server, or to replace one you are worried about:

  1. Install the agent on the new server.
  2. Approve the code it shows you on the connect a sync agent page.
  3. Come back here and disconnect the old server.

Do it in that order, so your data never stops flowing while you swap.

If you are on an older agent

Agents installed before 2025 reported in over a different route and do not appear in this list. Every currently supported version does. If you have a server you know is syncing but cannot see it here, it needs updating — tell us and we will arrange it.

Adding a different kind of system

Online stores (WooCommerce, Shopify) and vehicle tracking (Cartrack) you can connect yourself. Anything else — a second ERP, a payroll system, another store platform — is something we set up with you. Ask us and we will tell you what is involved.
