The Sync Agent proves two things before a SYSPRO setup can activate: the required SYSPRO tables and columns are visible, and the agent can read them without being able to mutate your ERP.
When proof fails, setup shows a named blocker instead of waiting silently. Read the evidence row, fix the named server or permission issue, then retry the setup step. Existing synced numbers stay as they were until the Sync Agent sends a fresh heartbeat.
What the proof means
- Required object checks confirm the pack can see the SYSPRO objects needed for onboarding, setup-health, and smoke/tie checks.
- Read-only proof confirms the Sync Agent account cannot write back to SYSPRO.
- Heartbeat evidence gives setup-health the table counts and freshness timestamps shown to administrators.
If every probe answers the setup questions automatically, the confirmation summary says No confirmations needed.
