Guides/Chat & investigations/Your analysis history

Your analysis history

Analysis in the sidebar is the history of every background investigation you have run — including ones you never saved. If you remember asking the question but can't find the answer, this is where to look.

Finding a past investigation

The list shows your investigations newest first, with their state: Ready, In progress, or Failed. Search by the words you used in your question, or filter by category — Cash & Banking, Financial Reporting, Inventory & Operations, Reconciliations, Sales. Choose All to see your complete history.

Opening one

Opening a completed investigation takes you straight to its result — the answer, the figures, the evidence. The working steps the assistant took along the way are there if you want them (View history), but they're never what you land on.

Keeping the good ones

A result worth keeping deserves a proper name:

  • Save analysis — give it a title and file it under a category. It then appears under Saved analyses on the Reports page, where the rest of the team's catalogue lives. You'll see "Analysis saved to Reports." when it's done.
  • Rename / file — change the title or category of one you've already saved.
  • Add to Favorites — star it for one-click retrieval. An analysis has to be saved before it can be starred.

An unsaved investigation isn't lost — it stays here in your history. Saving is what makes it findable from Reports and by name.
